The Turnover Phase

The Turnover Phase is the final stage in the employment cycle when employees leave an organisation. Employees decide to leave an organisation for various reasons including;
o Dismissal – when employee is dismissed due to poor work performance or inappropriate behaviour
o Resignation – the voluntary action of an employee resign from their position
o Retrenchment – occurs when the employees’ role in the organisation is no longer required to be performed. Majority of the time employees are however provided with compensation
o Retirement – an employee decides to leave the business and no longer be a part of paid employment
